The 2020 Flamies Awards Ceremony
Welcome, dear friends from near and far, to our wonderful Flamies Ceremony at The Green Dragon Inn. The fireplace is lit, the bar is manned and the music is playing. Outside we've rolled out our finest red carpet for you friends to find your way. Everything is ready for a wonderful weekend with awards, festive drinks, prizes, speeches and plunging necklines.
Most of us had a different year in 2020, but we're not going to focus much on that this weekend. As a moderator team we hope all of our members are in good health and are doing their best to get through these times. And we hope The Flame of Udûn can offer some light in your days - even when things look grey at times.
Collectibles wise we've seen Weta branch out and release items from several licenses, but still made some amazing Lord of the Rings statues. And let's not forget The Hobbit. After the success of Treebeard, Weta went ahead and made another humongous tree-like structure, this time with an elf on top. We've barely started to see some previews of what this year is going to bring and we can't wait to see more of what's to come!
Other companies haven't stood still either. Asmus has, among other things, shown us maybe one of the best action figures with rooted hair with Gandalf the Grey in their Crown Series. Prime 1 has put up several Lord of the Rings statues for pre-order, one fighting the other for your attention - and display space. UC has had both re-releases and new releases. I hope all of you who got the Horn of Gondor make use of it during The Flamies and TOOT away for every award being presented! But this weekend is not only to summarize the year which we have left behind and it's collectibles, it is mainly about you, our forum members.

We have a new top poster on our forum. Our American friend Ithildin has scored the first spot with his big quantity of quality posts. The only newcomer on the list is Plat which jumped all of 11 spots from last year to 9th place. We've never seen such a jump into the top 10 lists since Vicksken entered the list in 2017 after jumping up an incredible 23 spots.
