I love the lighting you have on your Smaug the Golden Orc from Morc. What a beautiful statue.

And to think that Weta, dropped the price on these to $400 to get rid of the last of their stock. Why didn't I pull the trigger? What a stupid decision of mine.

When I went to buy it, it was already sold out... I was able to buy Eowyn's from this series... but the one I really liked was Smaug... today the cheapest that I have seen, are 1000 euros

Three days ago a Smaug the Golden was sold at ebay Germany for 615Euro with shipping included.A bargain.

You mean when metal helms were $25 each, when the arms plaques were $40 each and a statue was $125. Plus it was not part of Lord of the Rings.
Remember hindsight is 20/20. No sense in beating yourself up.

You mean when metal helms were $25 each, when the arms plaques were $40 each and a statue was $125. Plus it was not part of Lord of the Rings.

Thanks Arwen0605. You`re right. BE is a beauty and I too think that the price is too high.But It was a "Must Have" for me.I have repainted it a little bit to my taste and now I`m happy that I`ve bought it.Also my Bag End CE has got a repaint.

What amazing pictures, once again, Orc from Morc.

It really does show the difference in size between these 2 Bag Ends.

It is the first time I noticed the difference between the 'roads' leading up to Bag End how very interesting.

Over here it hasn't been good enough weather to take my BE on the Hill outside but I will in the coming weeks.

I must say I saw your repaint of the Bridge at the Mill, and I really really love it! I emember buying that and being disappointed with the monochrome colour. I complained at Weta and got some Weta dollars but I would have loved to see it painted like yours!!!!

Thank you very much.Shooting Outdoor Fotos is always a "little bit" risky for the heavier collectibles cause I have to carry them down the stairs.
And thanks for liking my repaint of the Bridge. Mine was really only black painted.

Today I`ve had the chance to shoot some outside Photos from my "Bag End on the hill" environment.
Again I have add a little color here and there.
