  • Orc from Morc - Latest pics: - Isildur - Silent Reflection -

    Hello alltogether

After loosing the possibility to show Photos of my Collection in the lost S&F Forum I think it is time to start new here to show them again.
I`m collecting only from Lord of the Rings and Hobbit Theme.
Will mainly show outdoor pictures of single statues,busts,environments...and so on.
As many of you perhaps know I did some repaints on environments like Helm´s Deep,Weathertop,Bucklebury Ferry...
So the first pics I´ll show you will be the "older" pics which many of you know from S&F and meanwhile from some Threads here .
I`m from Germany and I hope you understand my lousy english.

Hope you enjoy the following pictures.

    @ Vicksken - @ Red - @ Anduin - @ goldring

    Thank you very much.

Now I`m thinking from what Collectible I should make photos next. Perhaps of the Torturer of Dol Guldur !!!

Congratulations Orc for your statue of Isildur, probably the best statue of a human created by Weta to date, although Eomer is now at the same level and it is possible that even with time is even more valued, because both statues are wonderful.

Congratulations and enjoy it with health.

I got another Collectible for a good price yesterday and shoot again some pics which I like to show you.
It`s from the Extended DVD: The Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies.
Very fine work and paintjob.Well done.
For me it`s the best Collectible from all three Hobbit Extended DVD`s.
Battle is over; Gandalf and Bilbo sitting on a rock in the snow, thinking about what has happened before.
The likeness of the faces reflects the situation great.(I do not know how to express that in English).

Shoot the pics outside in the dusk. Hope you like them.

Thank you Ithildin.I think it's the likeness of face and especially of the eyes that makes this Statue looking alive.

bill59 Thank you so much for your comment. The important face likeness of the statues is getting better and better.Let's hope that this will be the case on further statues too.

Celaglar Thank you.Makes fun shooting pics of Collectibles.

@ Ithildin - @ Vicksken Thank you very much.

I repainted the cradle with more different Rust colors and more like the prototype but less glossy.
Rust on my Grond cradle was roughly painted.
Also the wheels were painted too white/grey (in comparison to the ground) for my taste.
