When I bought it I wanted to have it on the wall but I was not satisfied with the effect, Then I decided to have it around the whole room on the floor strip. It looks much better imo.

Oh I agree, the lights look great on the floor. I was just wondering how the light from the floor looks as it illuminates things higher up on the wall. Brighter at the bottom but darker at the top and what kind of shadows it creates.
