This has to be one of my favorite pieces. It embodies so much about the power of the ring. Love it!
Congrats to everyone who got their hands on this beauty
WOW !!!! Now that's what I call a big chunk of money. As much as I love this statue, but there is NO way that I would pay that price. My hubby would chop me up into barbecue.
A must have statue imo. You have to see it to appreciate the aura it commands.
Of course you're right dear. After all, he was the one responsible person to make sure, that the One Ring survived! But to a price of 1,249.99 pounds? If I can ever, maybe in the future, find an Isildur less then 1000€ I will jump on it!
Still remember that I neglected to pre-order this one, cause it wasn't a character with much screen-time, so didn't want to buy him. Then I saw the first few pictures and I was sold (thankfully found a re-seller in the Netherlands who offered him for regular WETA pre-order price). Made an exception for him with the excuse that his statue also involved part of Sauron and it involved the ring. To this day he's still the only character we've bought who has very very little screen-time, but oh, is he pretty

Little screen time perhaps, but a big impact on the history of middle earth.

Yep, he surely had a big impact on Middle Earth. After all, if he would've thrown the ring into the fires of the mountain the whole story would've been over with. But since he lost the ring in the river Smeagol found him, after many years ago...
