I would tell them that, but I would be the one to pay it off anyway...I reallyyy want Theoden on Snowmane not helpful I know. Fingers crossed it doesn't go too high...$799-$899 would be great-ish. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.
2018 preorder Eomer on Firefoot US$699
Five years later Theoden on Snowmane will be very close to the $1000 mark as in $999. I can't see it going for less than US$950. Hope I am wrong for all those wanting it.
Yeah, Thranduil on Elk is larger than a rider on horse but it was also 5 1/2 years ago today and it will be 6 years when a Theoden on Snowmane hopefully comes up for pre-order..The latest rider statues were Éomer on Firefoot in February 2018, Arwen and Frodo on Asfaloth in July 2018 and Ringwraith at the Ford in January 2019 and all of these were US$699. Weta have since then sent out the email that prices had to be increased so I think it's unlikely that a new rider will be US$699 but of course I wish it will be! I don't think/hope Theoden on Snowmane will be US$999 or more but probably in the neighborhood of US$799-849, maybe even US$899 . Interestingly enough the "single" statues during 2017/2018, Isildur, Haldir, Gamling, Rohan Royal Guard and Grishnákh were all US$399 like he Classic statues are today. In 2019 Aragorn at Amon Hen was US$449 and Galadriel, Dark Queen was US$499 but they are both a bit "more" than a "regular" single statue, especially Galadriel. The only single statue released since that isn't a Classic statue is Elendil which was US$549.
I think Rider pieces will be in that $799-$850 range to be honest. Maybe some of the bigger or complex ones might get to say over 1k. Like if they did a larger scale Morgul Lord on Fell Beast.
Thank ya. I think a Rider piece is gonna have to have a lot going on to pass that.

They announced Bilbo in Bag End a month or two before so it’d be nice if we got one special piece to order before SDCC
They did, but they didn't go to SDCC and they did their reveals differently. I hope you are right, and we see something big before SDCC but I'm thinking that they are going to wait this year.
I need to double check but as of last ask Weta is going to be at SDCC last I asked. As far as if there will be a premium shown at SDCC. I fully expect there will be one as most years since they started using that term there has been one shown.
If Weta is going to be at SDCC this year, they will save all of the good stuff to do big splash reveals at the booth.
