Hopes for TTT & ROTK Anniversaries?

Well according to Daniel he mentioned in episode 4 of collecting the precious we are going to get a new Sam piece this year and next year! So I'm really curious as to what they could be, they could be both master collection pieces.

My guess is Samwise carrying Frodo on his shoulders at the feet of Mt. Doom with Gollum lurking just above them.

I also think that a my doom scene would be the best part of the bit story from rotk. She lob is just too grotesque and like new video said, the mcs aren’t about fighting (so far).

I don't think grotesque is something that would put off Weta I can absolutely see them doing a 1/6 spider.

Sam carrying Frodo would be great and i hope Weta wouldn't be put off by the fact Sideshow already made a diorama some years ago, but i would place that in the 'premium statue' category, not MC, plus would Weta really make two MC's in a row of Frodo, Sam and Gollum? (Assuming Dead Marshes is this years MC of course )

Yeah I don’t think the Mt. Doom piece would be MC. That would be either Theoden on Snowmane or Sam vs Shelob

Imo Theoden on Snowmane should not be a MC, it should be more accessible to fans and collectors and it can't be if it's a MC, plus what would they do to it/add to it that would warrant it being a MC? More grass? Unless they made it 1:4. And don't get me wrong the detail they could put in a 1:4 Theoden would be amazing and would probably make it worthy of a MC but Weta is perfectly capable of creating him at 1:6 in their premium line.

Yeah, there is no reason for Theoden on Snowmane to be a MC piece. We have a set format for rider pieces, there is no need to chance IMHO.

I'm not sure how that would make sense. There would need to be other Rohirrim in there with them, it would be massive. We're far more likely to see Theoden on steed and then a seperate Eowyn with Merry on steed.

I wonder if they’ll ever take another stab at Barad Dur or Orthanc. The secondary market prices are kind of insane.

The RotK MC will most likely be something with Frodo and Mount Doom.

But they could very well make a premium Théoden piece. But I don't see a reason for everything being MC or Premium. What about a 'normal' LE statue for less than 1K. Would make for a nice change.

I think Dcole4, there are slim chance of Bard Dur or Orthanc in the same depiction, but probably in a different way as part of a diorama perhaps? Weta might reveal a premium for TTT this year, but not likely an Orthanc, unless it's a smaller TB in Orthanc setting.

I'm wondering though how they'd do another Barad Dur (fortress of Sauron) and Weta released a new Sauron...

It was first a numbered edition, I think the 400 first orders got a numbered edition along with a pin and art print(?). Or was the Art print only for the LE of Rivendell. Too long ago to remember
