TB sold for $2400 how many years ago? With the price increases that have happened since then, TB would be up around $4000 if it was being sold today. Even without the Hobbits it wouldn't be lower that $3400.

Time will tell. Weta knows it will sell extremely well. Even if it’s just as a regular Premium format. But I’d like him as a Mini as well. And Mini Epic. And give us more Ents in 1/6 please Weta

I'm sure Dan basically confirmed a mini epic Treebeard recently in his thread didn't he? Now would be the perfect year for new Treebeard stuff!

There is another possibility for Brigitte Wuest to be heading this years MC - Théoden, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli battling wargs. I still prefer Theoden's full armor riding out of helms deep.

That would be sooooo AWESOME !!! But could you imagine the size of that thing??? A MC that size would make our display shelves explode. Not to mention the price of it....

Well, we could have 6 horses/ wargs and still be more compact than T o T. I had to unbox it outside because the tree box is the size of a fridge. It was windy, I still have nightmares.

Of course, that also would be a great piece. But I really hope for an environment that has something to do with Rohan, maybe the inside of the Golden Hall with Gandalf facing Theoden or the Helm's Deep scene.

Something like that would be amazing. Theoden on throne with Gandalf counseling him from the side and perhaps some of the Rohan banners in the background. They could make something really interesting around this scene

For TTT I’d love a more affordable, smaller Treebeard. It’d be wonderful to have a new 1:6 scale Faramir, Theoden, Gandalf the White, and maybe a scene in the Dead Marshes with Gollum, Frodo, and Sam with the lights and pools of the dead (MC level piece for sure). Environment-wise…Orthanc, Edoras, and Helm’s Deep would be amazing.

For TROTK, it’d be amazing to see a new Witch-king piece of some sort. Selfishly, I’d love to have a shot at buying Minas Tirith! Maybe the tower of Cirith Ungol. A Morannon environment. A Mount Doom/Sammath Naur piece…a tiny Frodo at the edge of the chasm. Barad Dûr. 1:6 Denethor, Aragorn in his Black Gate battle garb…maybe fighting the Troll??

These are just crazy wishes for the next couple of movies. I’d love the rest of the Fellowship done in Classic Series style of course (so hyped for Aragorn).

I'm actually more excited for the upcoming TT and ROTK pieces than I was for the FOTR. There has been so much done from the FOTR already (more than the number of pieces for the TT and ROTK combined) that these new pieces will help fill in some moments of the story that we have been missing for so long. FOTR seems to get most of the love, so it's great that these two films are being almost solely focused on the next two years.

I agree! I’m planning to watch TTT this weekend to get some fresh ideas to contribute to here. ?????
