    • Just a heads up, I ordered another roll of chain and what I received was slightly smaller then the chain used in the prototype, but other than that, it is the same. Same shape, same color. I ordered another roll, just to see if they had sent the wrong item this time, or if I received the wrong item originally. Measuring is no good, because it doesn't quite match up. So my question is, would anyone be overly upset to get a set with slightly smaller chain? Honestly, there wouldn't be much I can do about it, but I thought I would ask. Finally a issue that really isn't my fault, yay!

Other then that, I have the first set of the first batch completely finished, and hooked up to Grond, just to make sure things fit, and happily they do! The first five will all be tested on my Grond, just to insure they will fit, but the following batches, I have come up with a way to make the chain fairly easy to adjust, so I don't have to keep testing them on my Grond (worried about eventually scratching it if I am testing every batch).

Watched the trilogy the other day and read through the hundreds of comments on the original Grond forum and definitely believe showing the scale of this figure will significantly enhance the presentation of this guy. Don’t feel bad and take your time! In the end it will all be worth it! Hopefully for you included!
I need to do a rewatch, it has been a while, always a good way to recharge the creative batteries! I am very pleased with how scale is added once to put the Trolls and Great Beasts with Grond!

Oh, that is a good idea, I will see if I can get a pic or two! I almost don't want to let any go, and just make a huge army for myself!

I trust you to make the proper artistic decision Kyle.

        • Chain size is not an issue for me Kyle. Work away with what you've got buddy.

          • Kyle, I don't think at this point that we'll quibble over the chain. It's not as if we can tell if it's not screen-accurate.

                  • Quick update, boxing up batch one today, starting batch two tomorrow! Also, quick question, someone had wanted slightly darker chains, and I thought I made a note of it, but I cannot find it in any of my lists. Send me a PM if whomever that was reads this, thanks!

Very true, I just wanted to make sure no one was buying the set just because they really liked the chain used!
