The Flame of Udûn Awards: The Flamies 2018
We're well into the new year and Golden Globes, Grammies and Baftas has been handed out to deserving
and hard working artists the last few weeks, but in little more than a week it's time for the most important
award of them all. This is the fourth annual Flamies at The Flame of Udûn message boards and it is a big
one. More categories than ever and more prizes than ever. The voting process is about halfway there.
Make sure you get your votes in before the deadline. If you want to know more about the awards, why
not have a look at the previous award shows.

Happy New Year to all (if you follow the Roman or Chinese calendar). We've been through a huge year with some stunners released and previewed throughout 2018. The Master Collection Gollum and Treebeard, the BOTFA dwarf and elf - the first double feature piece and ToE just to name a few. Center pieces, space killers, whatever you'd like to call them, they sure are impressive from both an artistic and engineering point of view. ...

Calgary Expo/Comic Con 2015
I know that it has been about a month since the Calgary Expo, but I so wanted to share it with all of you.
I figured out I was at the comic con for about 26 hours in 4 days (this does not include waiting time to get into the Expo), I am sure that I was with the Weta people either in their booth or at their session for 80% of that time.
I'm thinking Weta would say 99.9% of the time. I'm sure I saw Mike do this at least once, when he saw me . . . .
